Synetic Theater Virtual Summer Camp
About Synetic Theater Virtual Summer Camp
Synetic Theater's virtual camp is designed to keep kids active, engaged, and learning important life skills from premier artists. Students will be exposed to the same acting techniques that have made Synetic America’s premier physical theater company. Sign up for one session or sign up for multiple to give a new show experience to your camper each session!
Synetic Remix (July 20 - 24 & July 27 - 31)
One of Synetic Theater’s greatest strengths is collaboration. Synetic Remix starts with a theme. This year’s themes include Jurassic Park Janitor, Rise of the Villains, and Animal Tales. Just like Synetic Classic students work with Synetic Company members on acting techniques like pantomime, clowning, stage combat, and dance.
Just like Synetic Classic, this will culminate in a virtual performance, the difference is that students, with guidance from Synetic Company members, will be the driving creative force during their week at Synetic Remix. Each “shareformance” will be determined by the student’s ideas, passion, and interests. Each session will be a truly unique experience.
Synetic Classic (August 3 - 14 & August 17 - 28)
Much like in past years, Synetic will offer a two-week summer camp experience that culminates in an original physical theater musical. This year Synetic will feature different show opportunities depending on which session you sign up: “The Wild and Wacky Wizarding World of Wiley Skylar” from August 3 - 14, and “Star Force" from August 17 - 28.
