Paz de la Jolla & The Man in Black with Cacti
Justin Peck, a Soloist and Resident Choreographer of New York City Ballet, makes his debut with The National Ballet of Canada with his acclaimed ballet Paz de la Jolla. Created in 2013, the ballet is inspired by Mr. Peck’s upbringing in Southern California, a sun-washed homage to beach life and young love that evokes the pleasures and fears of youth. Paz de la Jolla is part of a thrilling triple bill that also features James Kudelka's heartbreaking The Man in Black, set to songs sung by the legendary Johnny Cash and Aleksandar Ekman's irreverent and wickedly funny Cacti.
