About Moonlight and Magnolias

In 1939, Hollywood producer David O. Selznick shuts down his production of Gone with the Wind. While fending off the film’s stars, gossip columnists and his own father-in-law, Selznick calls in screenwriter Ben Hecht and director Victor Fleming from the set of "The Wizard of Oz." Hilarity ensues when he locks the doors, closes the shades, and on a diet of bananas and peanuts, the men begin to fashion a screenplay for one of the most beloved films of all time.
