The Setup: Stand Up Comedy

Voted by SF Weekly as the Best Comedy Show in SF, "The Setup" is an underground stand up comedy show hosted by local favorites Richard Sarvate and Abhay. We feature established comedians from around the country as well as local up-and-coming stars. Our goal is to provide a truly raw alternative experience. A revolving door of touring stand-up comics, late-night writers, movie stars and more grace the stage at this special night of entertainment. They come from diverse backgrounds and their styles are equally variable, from theatrical monologues to raunchy anecdotes. Join the party and take a load off as you enjoy a great roster of performers amidst classic, retro ambiance.
