Tell Me More

The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future are visiting Broadway for a limited eight-week engagement of the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol.”Adapted by Tony Award-winning “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” writer Jack Thorne and directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (“Matilda,” “Groundhog Day”), the acclaimed production comes to New York City after two consecutive years at London’s Old Vic.

“House of Cards” actor Campbell Scott stars as Ebenezer Scrooge — with theater vets LaChanze and Andrea Martin as the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Past, respectively — in the timeless Charles Dickens tale, about a mean-spirited miser who is forced to learn the true meaning of Christmas. Featuring a dozen holiday carols, including “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” and “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear,” the immersive new theatrical experience haunts Broadway until the first week of the New Year.
