About Carmen to Havana and Back
A dynamic adaptation of the classic Carmen is presented in a compelling new light. Inspired by the 1950’s jet-set haven of Havana’s infamous Tropicana Club; love, jealousy, passion, and betrayal take center stage as Carmen’s fateful night unfolds in an exhilarating 360° blend of theatre, live music, nightlife, and dance.
Guests are invited to dress in 1950’s club attire and be swept away with Carmen and her lovers, in an epic New York experience and the steamiest Carmen to ever be staged.
Conceived, produced, and directed by Variety Life Productions' Kaitana Magno and Jimmy Sutherland; Musical supervision and direction by Max Pollak and Ariacne Trujillo and a hybrid of choreography by Chelsea Ainsworth, Jessica Castro, Desiree Godsell, Adesola Osakelumi, and Doron Perk.
