Fertile Ground: Emerging Choreographer Dance Series
About Fertile Ground
Fertile Ground is a monthly, non-curated, new works showcase for emerging and/or established artists. It has been a staple Green Space program since 2006. Evenings feature up to six choreographers, followed by a moderated discussion over wine that integrates the choreographers, dancers, and audience members. This series is an excellent opportunity for participants to share new and developing work, then receive informative feedback about it in a supportive environment.
FERTILE GROUND has supported emerging and established artists for 13 seasons, showcasing the work of over 50 choreographers each year. The non-curated program features 5-6 dance makers each evening and includes a post-performance discussion with wine, moderated by Green Space’s Artistic Director, Valerie Green.
Two hours (60 Minute Performance, Followed by a 60 Minute talk back and interactive session with performers)
Generally Family Friendly and appropriate for all ages. Since choreographers and show content change on monthly basis, parents are welcome to contact venue with specific questions.
