About Lucky Peterson
"Jumping, rocking blues...Peterson is a triple-threat player, excelling on guitar, piano and especially Hammond organ." - Washington Post
Born in 1964, Buffalo native Judge Kenneth “Lucky” Peterson’s earliest musical memories were formed at his bluesman father James Peterson’s Buffalo Blues club, Governor's Inn, which hosted all the local stars as well as those passing through — bluesmen Willie Dixon heard five-year-old Lucky and mentored him in the blues tradition. Later, Peterson performed
on The Tonight Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, and What's My Line?, before forming his own groups, recording blues hits, and performing throughout the world.
