About Renee Manning / Earl McIntyre
Renee has worked with the Mel Lewis Orchestra, the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, Chico O’Farrill, Lester Bowie, Mingus Big Bands and many others touring Europe, Scandinavia & Asia.
Manning is a strong composer as well and has received several writing grants. Her compositions include "Nee's Corner" a collection of compositions dedicated to all aspects of femininity. December 2014, Renee was part of a recording project with The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and several Cuban musicians in Havana, Cuba. “The Conversation Continues”
recently won a Latin Grammy. Her most recent CD is “All Grown Up”.

Earl has played, recorded or arranged for Gil Evans, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Taj Mahal, Lester Bowie, The Band, Stevie Wonder, McCoy Tyner, J.J. Johnson,Carla Bley, Aretha Franklin, Cedar Walton, Levon Helm, the Count Basie Orchestra, the Ellington Orchestra, the Thad Jones -Mel Lewis Orchestra, Slide Hampton, the Mingus Big Band, Cecil Taylor, Arturo O’Farrill & the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and Fred Ho. He appears on many Grammy award & Tony winning productions. Earl was also the producer, originator and driving force behind the First Annual Brooklyn Brass Fest, The festival presented performances, workshops and panels featuring some of the most notable brass instrument artists in the world.
