Golden Girls LIVE: The "Lost" Halloween Episode
The Original Golden Girls LIVE
About Golden Girls LIVE: Halloween
Golden Girls LIVE was created by Peter Mac and John Mac as a loving tribute in the style of Brady Bunch LIVE, and created a loving drag PARODY of everyone's favorite sitcom.
The shows uses spot on impersonations of the original Actresses as source material (they play Estelle Getty and Beatrice Arthur respectively) and creating original parody situations, they realized that there was an audience to relive and attend a live taping of this revered sitcom.
Long-running NBC sitcom The Golden Girls was beloved by viewers who tuned in weekly to laugh at the often bawdy antics and hilarious quips of geriatric roomies Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia. The comedy won two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and multiple Emmys for each actress over the course of its seven seasons. Now see the return to NYC of the loving parody The "Original" Golden Girls LIVE: On Stage! now in their 15th year, with a new episode that never was, "The Lost Salem Halloween Episode," at the Producers Club. An affectionate all-male tribute to everyone's favorite (mostly) gray-haired gals, this episode recounts the girls embarking on a field trip to Salem, where schoolteacher Dorothy is teaching The Crucible. The cast of the original Golden Girls LIVE: On Stage marked their 1,500th performance on August 14, 2018!
PLEASE NOTE: The Producers Club is not wheelchair accessible and requires patrons walk up two flights of stairs. There is no late seating for this event.
