Tell Me More

A whole new world landed on Broadway in 2014, when the Tony Award-nominated Best Musical “Aladdin” flew into the New Amsterdam Theatre. Based on the 1992 Disney animated film of the same name, the musical follows the titular street urchin as he journeys to the Cave of Wonders, where he discovers a magical lamp that changes his life forever. Unleashing a friendly and funny Genie who will grant him three wishes, Aladdin transforms into royalty to win the heart of Princess Jasmine. The only thing standing in his way is the Sultan’s villainous Grand Vizier, Jafar, who will stop at nothing to steal the lamp and take the throne.

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, “Aladdin” brings audiences on an enchanting adventure to the deserts of Agrabah, complete with high-flying carpet rides and a toe-tapping Genie that will have you wishing for more.
