Built in 1929, the Dominion Theatre was acquired by The Nederlander Organization in 1992 before starting to operate independently as Nederlander Dominion Limited in 2009. In 2014 the Dominion underwent a multi-million pound renovation reopening on 16thSeptember with a 7 week run of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece Evita. In the two years that followed White Christmas (2014) and Michael Flatley’s Lord of The Dance(2015) graced the stage before Elf (2015) starring Ben Forster and Kimberley Walsh broke all previous Box Office records. In 2016 Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds arrived at the Dominion for a 10 week run, followed by Beverley Knight reprising her role as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard (2016).
