Tell Me More
Don’t shoot for the stars, shoot higher! That’s the motto of this 80s-inspired musical, which follows a high school geek who dreams of becoming a Hollywood movie writer. At nights, Eugene dreams of “Tough Man” and “Super Hot Lady,” and by day, he draws his dreams as comic book characters. When a scout offers to help Eugene make a film out of one of his stories, he jumps at the chance and hops on a plane to LA to live the film career he’s always wanted. But things start to spiral out of control when the real evil Lord Hector crashes the film set. Are Eugene’s characters more realistic than he thought?
From “Star Wars” to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” this nostalgic, cult musical is full of pop culture references and catchy songs. By the finale, you’re bound to be dancing along to the air-punching choreography and singing “Go Eugen-i-us. Go Eugene!” After a sold-out run earlier this year, this uplifting show is back at The Other Palace for a limited time only.
