About Audience Choice

For five performances only, it will be up to you to vote for which of these three plays you want to see: Pericles, Twelfth Night or The Comedy of Errors. The rules are simple: the loudest cheer wins. Actors call it ‘terrifying’, audiences say it’s exhilarating. So scream and shout as loud as you can for the play you want to see, and blow the (figurative) roof off the Globe Theatre.

Shakespeare’s Globe’s Touring Ensemble present a trio of plays exploring the themes of refuge and displacement, performed as a touring production would have been staged in the 17th century, with a stripped back set and a small, versatile troupe of actors. Taking on multiple roles across all three plays, our talented international cast will unravel these timeless tales of those who have crossed seas and lost their families, are seeking new homes, and finding out what belonging truly means to them.

Midnight Matinee - Go one step further and experience Shakespeare by moonlight. Revel in the magical atmosphere of the Globe on the Summer Solstice with our special Midnight Matinee Audience Choice performance on Friday 21 June, at 11.59pm.
