About & Juliet

& Juliet is the irreverent and fun-loving new West End musical that asks: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning? What if

she…wrote her own story?

& Juliet soars with some of the biggest pop anthems of the last 30 years from acclaimed songwriter Max Martin, including …Baby One More Time, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), Love Me Like You Do and Can’t Feel My Face, all brilliantly arranged by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning orchestrator Bill Sherman.

This timely and vibrant new musical is directed by Luke Sheppard (In the Heights) with a story by David West Read (Netflix’s Schitt’s Creek), choreography from Jennifer Weber and set design from Soutra Gilmour.

A riotous comic blast of fun and glorious pop music, & Juliet proves when it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo…

Tell Me More

“& Juliet” follows Shakespeare’s leading lady when she decides that what should be the end of her life in the play, is in fact just the start. When Romeo dies, Juliet realises that this is her opportunity to head to Paris, with the nurse, to start again where no one knows her story. The show features characters from the play, as well as appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Shakespeare, and delivers the message that it’s never too late to take control of your future.

Featuring a score with all the biggest pop songs of the last 20 years, “& Juliet” is full to the brim of all the latest hits as well as a good dose of nostalgia. The show contains musical theatre royaltyCassidy Janson and Oliver Tompsett as well as newcomer Miriam-Teak Lee in the title role. The songs are completely reimagined for this production so expect to hear some of your favourites in a totally different style. This unique show takes a familiar story and turns it on its head!
