About New Play Readings Festival

Each year Stage West features the top winning play from our Southwest Playwriting Competition in its NEW PLAY READINGS FESTIVAL. This year’s reading of our winning submission "Dust", will be preceded by new play readings from playwrights Mat Smart, who wrote last year’s "The Royal Society of Antarctica", and Janielle Kastner, who played Karla in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City".

There will be a Post Show Conversation immediately after the performance.

4:30pm : Sweetpea by Janielle Kastner
