About Bridges: Around Town

NTSO presents the world premiere of new multi-movement work inspired by the Bridges of Dallas: Margaret McDermott Bridge, Klyde Warren Park, Ronald Kirk Bridge, Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. These bridges have received much architectural and popular interest due to their uniqueness of design and purpose. NTSO commissioned Dallas composer, Quinn Mason, to write a symphony that reflects their beauty and strength. Quinn, a young African-American, is a highly acclaimed composer that has received a great deal of recognition from the arts community, including a new commission from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
