Jealous of Snow White's beauty, the wicked queen orders the demise of her innocent stepdaughter -- but later discovers that Snow White is still alive and hiding in a cottage with seven friendly little miners. Disguising herself as an old woman, the queen brings a poisoned apple to Snow White, who falls into a death-like sleep that can be broken only by her true love's kiss.
This European-style marionette show is playing through Labor Day weekend at Geppetto's Theater, located inside the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. The show features an extensive and adorable cast of hand carved marionettes, gorgeous scenery and musical soundtrack. Arrive early and peruse the unique toy shop and stay after the show to go backstage to see how this theater magic is created. Bring your camera for photos with the marionettes.
About the Geppetto’s Theater: "Walking into Geppetto's is like stepping into the past." Geppetto's is a unique marionette theater created for children and families. The lobby is beautifully adorned with handcrafted wooden marionettes and the facility has a puppetry store, concession stand with confection bar, and a gorgeous intimate marionette theater.
Parking: We recommend all guests park in Lot 3. Theater will validate parking which lowers cost to $5.
Show is suitable for Ages 3 - 12 and adults. Recommended minimum age is 3 years.
