Don’t miss Theatre Week’s BIG EVENT. The Kickoff Fest & Concert marks the launch of Theatre Week and the 2022-2023 #dctheatre season.
11am-3pm: Start at Arena Stage with 40+ theatres, two stages, workshops, performances, conversations, prizes, and free food and drink. You can explore something new and dive deeper into the DC-area’s vibrant theatre scene — all under one roof! There will be family-friendly activities, panel discussions with theatre leadership, photo ops, giveaways, and tons of fun.
4-6pm: Follow us to the District Wharf for a brand-new-this-year happy hour concert on the floating stage to preview the upcoming season, featuring performances by #dctheatre luminaries Rayanne Gonzales, Sarah Anne Sillers, Kanysha Williams, Ryan Burke, Chani Wereley, DeCarlo Raspberry, and musical director William Yanesh. Hosted by Christopher Richardson and Brian J. Shaw.
It’s a daylong celebration that is FREE with registration.
