Synopsis
Dane A. Campbell's LOW HANGING FRUIT addresses the racial tensions surrounding police shootings in the inner city and the challenges interracial friendships face in the wake of them. An interracial friendship of five is torn apart when one of them, a white cop, in the line of duty, shoots and kills an unarmed teenager. Published author and award winner, Campbell, directs a talented, diverse, ensemble cast of actors, who fearlessly give voice and movement to each branch of the ravaged tree, rooted in police brutality, inner-city violence, black-on-black crime, racism, and hate.
