About Bat Out of Hell

Get your air guitars at the ready and find your inner rock star as the Meat Loaf musical Bat Out of Hell - The Musical returns to London.

It’s no surprise that the Bat out of Hell album, one of the best-selling musicals of all time, became the basis for a successful musical. When Bat Out of Hell opened in the West End, London Theatre raved about the show, saying “this production capture the essence of rock music - it's a spectacular, sensory overload from start to finish," so you'll feel the stadium concert atmosphere at the theatre.

Bat Out of Hell combines storytelling elements in Romeo and Juliet and Peter Pan. At the start of the musical, audiences meet Raven, a teenage girl whose father rules over the dystopian city Obsidian. Raven’s life is changed when she meets Strat, an outcast who is part of ‘The Lost’, a group of people whose bodies and minds are stuck in a teenage state. Raven and Strat fall for one another, but will Raven’s father Falco allow this to happen?

Find paradise by the dashboard light.
