Les Misérables – The Staged Concert opened to critical acclaim at the Sondheim Theatre in December 2020 and was extended twice by public demand. “Vive Le West End!” proclaimed The Telegraph. “This is humanity singing its lungs and heart out, and safely too.”
Now, The Staged Concert has returned to the Sondheim Theatre until 5th September only with a spectacular company of over 50, featuring acclaimed West End stars of Les Mis including Jon Robyns, Bradley Jaden, Dean Chisnall and Lucie Jones.
Covid secure measures will be in place.

After Jean Valjean breaks parole in a chain gang for stealing a loaf of bread, he longs for a new life. Stealing silver from a bishop, he uses the money to become a factory owner, but quickly ends up looking after Fantine’s daughter, Cosette. At the same time, Inspector Javert is chasing down Valjean across the country, but this game of cat-and-mouse across France proves a lifechanging ordeal. Spending time on the barricade, Valjean begins to appreciate what it takes to fight, even if it costs everything you have.

What To Watch For
- Les Misérables: The All-Star Staged Concert was first performed in 2019 at the Gielgud Theatre. It was originally opened as a temporary production while the Sondheim Theatre was being renovated. But, as Les Misérables could not open for full capacity performances due to the pandemic, the Les Misérables concert returned.
- Les Misérables is the West End’s longest-running musical, closely followed by The Phantom of the Opera.
