Glass House Tavern
252 W. 47th St.
This classic watering hole is a magnet for actors after they’ve taken their bows, but prior to curtain it’s a welcome place for audience members to indulge. The roomy bar area is good for small groups, and a hearty list of wines by the glass is complemented by craft cocktails that cover everything from martinis to mules.

Bond45
221 W. 46th St.
“Hamilton’s” scenic designer, David Korins, and “The Lion King’s” lighting designer, Donald Holder, collaborated on the design of this storied Italian restaurant’s 2017 re-opening. The new location, which is coincidentally right next to the Richard Rodgers Theatre, features Bond Bar Below on the second floor. This space boasts two fireplace alcoves with built-in couch seating and a sunken patio in the center. Come after the show for a late-night happy hour.

Bar Centrale
324 W. 46th St.
You’ll feel in-the-know if you find your way to this unmarked boîte above Joe Allen, where reservations are strongly encouraged to help score a seat. It’s actually a converted apartment in a Victorian brownstone, so space is truly at a premium. And be warned: There’s a strict “no standing” policy at the bar.

The Lambs Club
132 W. 44th St.
Taking its name from America’s first professional theatrical society, this glittering ode to old-school glamour looks out over 44th Street through a wall of floor-to-ceiling French doors. Food Network’s Geoffrey Zakarian oversees the kitchen, while the bar’s meticulous attention to detail extends from hand-cut ice to custom glassware and beyond.

Dutch Fred’s
307 W. 47th St.
Step onto this joint’s mosaic tile floors and sip back in time, with 1920s-style cocktails that pack a punch. An impressive draft wall pours beers that stick to the theme: Kentucky Bourbon Barrel ale, 21^st Amendment blood orange IPA, and Prohibition Speakeasy amber ale. And its name? A nod to the Prohibition-era policeman who was said to have dubbed the area Hell’s Kitchen.

Toloache
251 W. 50th St.
An assortment of margaritas and mezcalitas await at this modern Mexican restaurant, which is strung with exotic lanterns and adorned with colorful tiles. It’s right next to both the Gershwin and Circle in the Square, making it the ideal spot to celebrate after winning a ticket lottery.

Casalleula
401 W. 52nd St.
Cheese may be the star here, but what’s cheese without wine? Each carefully selected vintage is available by the glass, to help ensure you select precisely the right vino for every cheese you try. A curated list of beers and artisan sodas is also available for the grape-averse.

Beer Culture
328 W. 45th St.
Hit up this bottle shop/bar hybrid for 12 rotating drafts and more than 500 bottled brews. As its name implies, this cozy spot is for beer lovers of all kinds, from novice to connoisseur. If all those suds seem intimidating, don’t worry: The bartenders delight in guiding you toward the perfect pint.
