If you’ve ever gone to see a Broadway musical, I bet you have found yourself asking the age-old question: Would a Teletubbie be good in this show? After a few months of very intense research, we have finally determined which leading roles each of the Teletubbies would fit best. While we believe our choices are ingenious and flawless, do let us know if you have any further suggestions for roles the Teletubbies might be right for on Facebook or Twitter.

1. Tinky Winky – Willy Wonka

In addition to sharing vaguely similar names and purple wardrobes, Tinky Winky and Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are also both mischievous leaders. The Teletubbie usually carries a red purse around, while the chocolate factory guru is rarely seen without his cane.

2. Dipsy – Elphaba

Dipsy and the Wicked heroine Elphaba both know it’s not easy being green! They’re also both somewhat stubborn and like to do things their own way. The green Teletubbie and the Wicked Witch each have a hat that is, “really, uh, sharp, don’t you think?

3. Laa-Laa – Carole King

Laa-Laa, as her name suggests, loves to sing. So does Carole King (of course), the leading lady of the biographical musical hit, Beautiful. Both music-loving ladies are kindhearted and look out for their friends.

4. Po – Amélie

Last but not least, we’ve paired Amélie (from the new musical of the same name, Amélie) with Po, as they both soft-spoken and fun-loving. The Teletubbie and the Parisian darling both share the same favorite color, red.
