Theatergoers Are Buzzing About Al Pacino and Judith Light in God Looked Away

Los Angeles theatergoers are in for a treat this month, as Al Pacino and Judith Light take center stage for the World Premiere of God Looked Away.

This inaugural Playworks Development Production tells the seismic story of Tennessee Williams at the end of his career. Audiences meet one of America’s most beloved, prolific and flawed playwrights as he works to open his final play in Chicago, while his hotel room becomes the setting of a battle between creation and addiction; love and sex; immediate satisfaction and eternal legacy.

While the magic’s happening at the Pasadena Playhouse, the rest of us are left wondering what it’s really like to be in the presence of two living legends onstage.
