We Invited Hundreds of LA Creatives to Collaborate on a Giant Work of Art at Hollywood Fringe

The Hollywood Fringe Festival kicked off earlier this month, welcoming participants and fans of independent theater from all over the world. Now in its seventh year, Hollywood Fringe aims to celebrate and provide a platform for any and all artists with a unique vision, be they established theater veterans or first timers. During the month of June, you can find productions ranging from the wacky and radical to the intimate and poignant, often playing side-by-side right on Theater Row. If you’re feeling creative and inspired, Fringe welcomes you.

In that spirit, TodayTix joined Fringe participants, fans, and organizers for their fabulous opening night celebration. As part of the festivities, we asked everyone to pick a word or phrase that best describes their Fringe experience, grab a marker, and write it down on our Word Wall. By the end of the night, our once-blank canvas was more like a beautifully chaotic word cloud, displaying the thoughts, emotions, and goals of all who participated, perfectly encapsulating the energy of Fringe.
