Since Underbelly Festival began in 2000, the summer event attracts world-class talent to London. Cabaret performers, comedians, and variety acts have all performed, with thousands of audience members soaking up the sunshine and excellent shows.

When did Underbelly start?

Directors Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood founded Underbelly in 2000. Underbelly is a British-based entertainment company dedicated to promoting, presenting and producing a diverse line-up of acts.

When did the Underbelly Festival come to London?

The Underbelly Festival started in London, in 2009 on the South Bank. By 2015, the festival had extended to 15 weeks and in 2019, it was a 26-week long festival. 

If you’ve missed the festival atmosphere or just live entertainment over the past year, Underbelly Festival is the place to go. Celebrating a variety of different art forms, you can guarantee you’ll see a new show that fits into a multitude of genres. The majority of Underbelly Festival shows have a 60-minute running time too and Underbelly Festival tickets start from just £15, so you can fit a show into part of any day’s plan.

Where is the Underbelly Festival in London in 2022? 

Yes! Underbelly Festival will be taking over London from 28 April to 31 July. Currently, five shows are announced, but stay tuned for even more shows in the Underbelly Festival lineup.

Which shows are at the Underbelly Festival at Earls Court in 2022?

The Underbelly Festival in Earls Court is located on the site of the former Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre. You don’t even need a ticket to enter the site; there’s outdoor bars, street food and fairground rides to keep you entertained.
