Photo Flash: Bostonians Tell Us Why They ❤️ Theater on Boston Common
TodayTix spent a weekend at Comm Shakes’ Shakespeare on the Common, a free Boston tradition that allows locals to experience high-quality Shakespeare productions in the beautiful outdoors. There, we spoke with hundreds of Bostonians about why they love theater, why the arts are important, and what inspires them to spend their evenings in the company of fellow theatergoers. And we got tons of great responses: everything from “Theater empowers me to be my best self” to “It’s mad cool.” Well said, friends.
Check out the photos below to see more responses! For each poster created, TodayTix is donating to the New England Foundation for the Arts to support high quality, diverse art for years to come. If you’d like to join in our efforts to support the future of the arts in Boston and beyond, you can donate to NEFA here!
