About The Original Chicago Hauntings Ghost Tour

The Oldest And Most Acclaimed Chicago Paranormal Experience . . . Now In Our 22nd Year!

Author and 30-year veteran paranormal researcher Ursula Bielski and her staff of expert historians and paranormal investigators created the award-winning Original Chicago Hauntings bus tour, running for over two decades, introducing countless thousands of visitors and natives to a very different side of the city. Take this 3- hour, fully-narrated, haunted history tour of Chicago’s ghosts by luxury coach, with several stops off the bus at some of Chicago’s most haunted locations.

Highlights:

Congress Plaza Hotel: One of the city’s most haunted locations, it’s the perfect spot to grab a drink before or after the tour.

Lincoln Park Zoo: Built on the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire, the Lincoln Park Zoo is home to apparitions from the Victorian Era who are unaware that they are no longer among the living.

John Hancock Building: An inspiration for the movie Ghostbusters, the trapezoidal shape is said to be an ancient symbol for harnessing otherworldly forces.

666 Building: Originally a furniture warehouse, this was nicknamed “Satan’s Skyscraper” until the address was changed.

St. Valentine's Day Massacre Site: Home to the most infamous mob killing in American history, this site is still home to echoes of machine gun fire, screams, and the barking dogs of yesteryear.

Nederland Theatre: This is the site of the infamous Iroquois Theater, which infamously burned to the ground killing hundreds of people. The site is still haunted by the people who were burned alive or jumped to their death trying to escape.

Eastland Disaster Site: Chartered by Western Electric to take the employees and their families for a two hour summer cruise in July of 1915, the overloaded vessel capsized killing 844.

Couch Tomb: This is the home of the last remaining marked grave from the Chicago cemetery, which was destroyed in the great Chicago fire.

Hull House: Originally built as a family home by the Hull family in 1856, America’s first social worker (Jane Addams) turned it into a settlement to help immigrants. According to the folklore of the Italian immigrants, a Devil baby, complete with horns, was born here.

Biograph Theater: The spot where notorious gangster John Dillinger met his end in a hail of bullets. Meet the robbers, ruffians, and thugs that haunt the old Biograph.
